Broadcom, Google Cloud expand partnership

Broadcom and Google Cloud have announced an expanded partnership focusing on optimizing Broadcom’s VMware workloads for Google Cloud, collaborating on go-to-market initiatives, adding more Broadcom products to Google Cloud Marketplace, and integrating Google Cloud’s generative AI capabilities into Broadcom’s offerings.

As part of the partnership, Broadcom will move its VMware workloads, including customer-facing products and internal services, to Google Cloud. Broadcom has already integrated Google Cloud’s generative AI technology into its SymantecAI platform and plans to expand its adoption of generative AI.

The companies will also align their product and go-to-market organizations to improve support for mutual customers and simplify cloud deployments through deeper network solution integrations.

Broadcom plans to add several more products and services to Google Cloud Marketplace, such as Symantec Network Protection.
