big-fish-games

Game-maker Big Fish is partnering with bitcoin platform Coinbase, to accept the digital cryptocurrency. All Big Fish online games can now be purchased directly from Big Fish with bitcoin. Several of the company’s free-to-play games will also accept bitcoin for in-app purchases.

To use bitcoin on Big Fish, players can make purchases using Coinbase, or any other bitcoin wallet. Big Fish will immediately settle transactions in USD.

Roughly half of Big Fish’s $266 million 2013 gross revenues were transacted through its own e-commerce system.
