Belkin Reveals Best-In-Class Router At CES

[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Belkin unveiled its best-in-class wireless networking solution at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. The Advance N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router with 6 embedded MultiBeam antennas can support an entire household of Wi-Fi devices and media-intensive activities like online gaming and 3D video streaming, says Belkin.

The Advance N900 features dual-band combined speeds of up to 900 megabits per second, and delivers maximum data speeds on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands simultaneously. The N900 uses the IEEE 3×3 standard to transmit data on three streams, which gives 50 per cent better throughput, according to Belkin. You can find a full list of specifications at the company’s website here.

The Advance N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router will be available for pre-sale on Amazon.com in January and at other U.S. retailers in April for $199.99.
