AxialMarket Raises Series A Round

Redpoint Ventures has led a Series A investment in AxialMarket, a network for professionals looking to make business deals. New York-based Cove Point Holdings, a private investment company, along with its lead seed investors, First Round Capital and Windcrest Partners, also participated in the round.

“Since launching a beta in 2009 and v1 in early 2010, the AxialMarket platform has helped over 8,800 private companies, representing over $150 billion in total revenues, manage and execute financial transactions,” says CEO Peter Lehrman. Over 9,000 companies with over $150 billion in revenue and $22 billion in EBITDA have come to market or sought capital on the AxialMarket Network, according to the company website.
