Apple Starts Selling IPhones In China With China Mobile

Apple and China Mobile have entered into a multi-year agreement, under the terms of which the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models will be available from the state-owned telecommunications company across mainland China.

Tim Cook (CEO, Apple): China is an extremely important market for Apple and our partnership with China Mobile presents us the opportunity to bring iPhone to the customers of the world’s largest network.  

The phones will be available from January 2014. Pre-registration start Christmas Eve.
