Apple has launched a line of updated Macbook Air computers. The new Macbook Air line is powered by fourth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and flash storage that is up to 45 percent faster than the previous generation. The machines now come with ‘all day battery life’, says Apple.
The 13-inch MacBook Air has up to 12 hours of battery life and up to 10 hours of iTunes movie playback, says Apple. The 11-inch MacBook Air delivers up to 9 hours of battery life and up to 8 hours of iTunes movie playback.
The new Macbook Air machines are currently available. Apple has slashed the prices on these machines, and the 11-inch 128 GB model is available for $999.
