Apple launched the iTunes Radio, at the company’s worldwide developer conference, currently going on in San Francisco. The iTunes Radio is a free Internet radio service featuring over 200 stations, and a catalog of music from the iTunes Store. And no, you don’t need a Mac/iOS device to tune in to iTunes Radio.
With iTunes Radio, you’ll have access to stations inspired by the music you already listen to, featured stations curated by Apple, and genre-focused stations that are personalized. ITunes Radio evolves based on the music you play and download, according to Apple.
ITunes Radio also gives you access to exclusive ‘first listen’ premieres, plus the ability to tag or buy anything with just one click. ITunes Radio is integrated with Siri, Apple’s voice-activated virtual assistant, as well.
ITunes Radio is ad-supported and free for everyone. ITunes Match users get iTunes Radio ad-free.
ITunes Radio will be available this fall.
