San Francisco, California-based GraphQL API technology company Apollo has raised $22 million in a funding round. The investment was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Matrix Partners, with participation from existing investors Trinity Ventures and Webb Investment Network.

Andreessen Horowitz general partner Peter Levine is joining the Apollo board.
