American Express Gets Into License Agreement With Intellectual Ventures

Intellectual Ventures has entered into a license agreement with American Express. As part of the agreement, American Express has access to IV’s portfolio of intellectual property, which contains more than 35,000 IP assets in more than 50 technology areas, including metamaterials, epidemiological modeling, and health technologies.

Founded in 2000, Intellectual Ventures (IV) collaborates with inventors, and invests both expertise and capital in the process of invention, selling and licensing IP.
