Ambiq Micro, a company that makes ultra-low power integrated circuits for power-sensitive applications, has closed a $15 million Series C funding round. The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Existing investors including Austin Ventures, Mercury Fund, and ARM Holdings. KPCB partner Wen Hsieh will be joining Ambiq Micro’s board.
