New York-based market intelligence and search platform company AlphaSense, has raised $225 million in a Series D funding round.
The investment was led by Goldman Sachs and Viking Global Investors. The funding round also includes an earlier debt investment from BlackRock.
AlphaSense’s platform leverages proprietary search technology powered by AI and NLP to extract insights from content, including company filings, earnings transcripts, expert interview transcripts, news, trade journals, or equity research, according to the company.
The financing values the company at $1.7 billion, AlphaSense said in a statement.
