Accenture To Deliver SAP Solution For Carlsberg

Accenture has been selected by brewery group Carlsberg, to deliver an SAP solution supporting six functional business areas within Western Europe. Financial terms of the three-year contract were not disclosed.

The implementation is expected to be completed during 2015, when it will cover all key markets across Carlsberg’s European operations. The implementation will replace a series of stand-alone systems currently operating in the region.

The contract follows an agreement between Accenture and Carlsberg in January 2011 covering the delivery of applications services to Carlsberg’s European operations. It also complements an agreement announced in April 2009 by the two companies, under which Accenture supported Carlsberg’s SAP implementations in Europe and the delivery of a common enterprise resource planning platform.
