3M Invests In Israel-Based VocalZoom

3M Company, through its corporate venture organization 3M New Ventures,  has made an equity investment in VocalZoom, an Israel-based company that develops speech enhancement technology that enables voice communication and recognition in any environment. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Nir Leshem (Managing director,  3M Israel): Israel is one of the most vibrant technical and entrepreneurial regions in the world and there are plenty of opportunities for 3M.

VocalZoom,  founded in 2010, has developed an optoelectronic microphone, that is able to substantially enhance a speaker’s voice over any background noise.
