3M New Ventures Inks Equity Agreement With Mersive

3M New Ventures (3M’s corporate venture organization) and Mersive, a provider of visual computing software, have inked a strategic development and equity agreement.  The agreement is expected to result in a new class of displays. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Central to the strategic development agreement are Mersive’s two software products: Sol automatically aligns multiple projectors into one seamless image; and Solstice, a media sharing and display management software.

3M New Ventures, headquartered in Munich, Germany, identifies and invests in innovative companies and disruptive new technologies with strategic relevance for 3M.
